The royal wedding was not the only exciting event last weekend; Friday evening saw the annual Express and Echo Business Awards which celebrates the achievements of businesses in Exeter and the surrounding areas.

The impressive setting of Sandy Park was the perfect backdrop for the night, in an awards ceremony which recognises the drive and commitment of the local business community.

It was a fantastic evening from the prosecco reception to a delicious three-course dinner, complete with inspiring talks from the MET Office’s David Underwood and the Western Morning News Editor, Bill Martin, on the ambition and future of Exeter as a centre for business innovation.

We were honoured to simply be shortlisted for the Business Growth of the Year one-25 Employees category- so imagine our surprise when we won!

The whole team are extremely proud. It was wonderful to hear the judges recognise our international client growth as a factor in their decision, and we feel more motivated than ever to continue expanding in our sector and help more clients to tell their stories.

The awards brought together a diverse range of inspirational businesses who are accomplishing great things, whether that is enhancing the local tourism, supporting apprentices or raising the profile for corporate social responsibility.

The atmosphere truly reflected the inclusivity and pride which Exeter shows towards all businesses from start-ups to long established organisations.

We are already looking forward to the Express and Echo Business Awards 2019!
